We are delighted to announce the five winners of the 2012 Villa Raffle. In order, they are:

Danny Banner - Annapolis, Maryland. Danny won a week at Rainbow Tree Villa for up to 10 people. Round-trip airport transportation will be donated by Aman Parchment. Danny and his group will get a sunset cruise on Dennis Abrahams’ Shallow Bar. One member of his group will receive an onsite massage from Joshua Stein. And, Laura Moxam, the mother of one of our scholarship students is donating 10 pounds of fish to be cooked by the Rainbow Tree staff. Danny has been to Treasure Beach several times (both to Rainbow Tree and Rainbow Point), though not for several years. He still cannot believe his good fortune and is already searching for airline reservations.

John Turano – Vallejo, California. John is the recipient of a week at LaSirena Villa for up to 6 people. Treasure Tours is contributing round-trip airport transport. John and his group will get a sunset cruise on Dennis Abrahams’ Shallow Bar. One member of his group will receive an onsite massage from Joshua Stein. Plus, Chamelia Lyons, the mother of one of our scholarship students is donating 10 pounds of fish to be cooked by the LaSirena staff.

Susan and Tom Little – Haliburton, Ontario. Susan and Tom are longtime visitors to Treasure Beach. When I reached Susan, she said it was already “snowing like crazy.” She is beyond excited to be able to enjoy Doubloon Villa for a week. She added,” This is the best Christmas present ever. I just told my husband the good news and we are doing a little happy dance. We love the idea of bringing friends and family with us for a week and spending time at Doubloon. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the scholarship program; I know your work is highly valued in the community. I have been happy to support such a worthwhile cause and this is an incredible reward.” Treasure Tours—again—will be donating the round-trip airport transportation; Dennis Abrahams will treat the up to 8 guests to a sunset cruise; and Joshua Stein will provide a massage for Susan. In addition, Carl Charleton, the father of one of our scholarship students, will be donating enough fresh melons to keep the whole group happy.

Christy Vannoy – Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Christy hasn’t been in Treasure Beach for about five years and is delighted to be able to return. She and three others will be staying at Taino Cove where they will be treated to daily continental breakfasts. Taino Cove’s own driver will handle airport transport for the group. Christy and her group will enjoy a special gourmet dinner at Marblue and a Shallow Bar cruise and one of them will have a massage by Joshua Stein. Christy has been a longtime supporter of Treasure Beach Foundation; she has also taken time to visit the schools in Treasure Beach and donate books to them. Christy said she is ”so excited to visit Treasure Beach and all the wonderful friends that I made there years ago. It is truly one of my favorite places on earth!! Thank you for your benevolent efforts and the opportunity to continuously support the students in Treasure Beach.”

Bill Replogle – Leesburg, Virginia. Bill has never been to Treasure Beach, but he is very much looking forward to his week for 4 people at Sunset Resort; Bill knows people who are regularly in Treasure Beach—and has heard nothing but wonderful things about the area. Bill is a “foodie” and can’t believe in addition to having an onsite restaurant and bar at Sunset that he and his group will be treated to a special dinner at Marblue, complete with wine. Treasure Tours is generously donating round-trip airport transport; Dennis Abrahams will take this group on a sunset cruise, and Joshua Stein will give one lucky member of the group a massage right at Sunset Resort.

Treasure Beach Foundation sincerely thanks everyone who has so generously donated to make this the best villa raffle ever—and we also thank all those who bought tickets to support our efforts. 100% of the funds raised will go toward continuing to support our scholarship students.

In the spirit of patronizing those who donated for the villa raffle I would like to remind one and all I believe the Kennedys have donated use of either Rainbow Tree Villa or Rainbow Point Villa each and every year to help raise money for the children. I think the Kennedys deserve our business too and encourage everyone to consider their villas when checking out places to vacation.

Firstly, I would like to thank Treasure Beach Foundation for their dedication and commitment to such a worthy cause. I must however make special mention of Mrs. Karen Kennedy who has given so much of her time and service to this scholarship fund. This level of commitment certainly epitomises who she is: a philanthropist and educator. Thanks also to everyone who has contributed to this fund over the years. You have all helped to make a difference in the lives of these students.
Heartiest congratulations to the raffle winners!

Thank-you to all the sponsors that made this such a wonderful raffle. Most of them never toot their own horn and it is good to see others do it for them. I will make it a point to try to give some of them business or recommend them to my friends.
