just thought that i would mention that the scotia bank atm at crossroads was taken away recently
i do not believe that it has been replaced
don't really know anything else, just that its gone
There is one in Kingfisher plaza Calabash bay
NCB ATM
The one in Kingfisher plaza would not accept my Scotiabank card or any other card I had. it was specific to a Jamaican bank. NCB? That may have changed since last year. An easy way to travel without going to a cambio or bank machine is Traveller`s cheques. I was able to cash them readily, in amounts of 100$ Cad. at several shops and bars around Frenchman`s. They always call the bank for the current rate, and I got the same exchange rate as at a financial institution.
They also readily change US or Cad cash.
well, it looks as if i will have to stop using paper money and go back to trading and bartering with real items.
The ATM at the Kingfisher Plaza is actually a Jamaica National ATM. I hear some folks are able to get through with their Scotia Card so Dorothy you may want to try again.
Yes, I just heard about the ATM at Crossroad being taken out. Too bad!
Well, you can stop using plastic in TB!
