The one in Kingfisher plaza would not accept my Scotiabank card or any other card I had. it was specific to a Jamaican bank. NCB? That may have changed since last year. An easy way to travel without going to a cambio or bank machine is Traveller`s cheques. I was able to cash them readily, in amounts of 100$ Cad. at several shops and bars around Frenchman`s. They always call the bank for the current rate, and I got the same exchange rate as at a financial institution.
They also readily change US or Cad cash.

The ATM at the Kingfisher Plaza is actually a Jamaica National ATM. I hear some folks are able to get through with their Scotia Card so Dorothy you may want to try again.

Yes, I just heard about the ATM at Crossroad being taken out. Too bad!
