So sad to hear of the 14 year old that drowned in front of Golden Sands on Sunday. Take care when entering the sea when it is rough, everyone! My condolences to family and friends.

My sympathies to the family and friends of this young man.

It is my understanding there were two brothers who lived overseas and were visiting family from Pedro Plains. They both got in trouble in the water. Sandy from Treasure Beach was able to save one brother.

Thank you Sandy for risking your life to save another.

I heard it was Mass Alton's grandson.
Mass Alton was the brother of Miss Girlie, Sharon's mother.
The family are from Lewis Town and was down for vacation from New York.

My sincere condolence to all family members on this tragic happening.

so very sad but i still have to give higher thanks and praise to sandy..and many more who did that over the years as long as i can remember,,i often wonder when these not seeing or recon area beach youths will have a time or year when they are call up and offer great respect.
