I am a female living in Treasure Beach and would like to develop a youth club in the community. This would assist the children and young adults in the community by helping them to develop a higher self esteem as well as to teach them to work as a team and make a difference within the community. I am thinking of writing some letters and ask for sponsorship after I have seen the feed back of you the residents of Treasure Beach. This club would host different events in other to raise money withing the club to assist our activities.. I am thinking of a Ms Treasure Beach competition, that would be the first fund raising event. Also the youths of the club would participate in beach clean up at least twice per month,a few members of the club would visit the sick and needy within the community from time to time. I'm will be looking for persons to assist the GSAT and the Grade Four Literacy and Numeracy test students among helping the slower students,as well as have different persons coming in and talking to the youths on major issues within Jamaica . The main idea is to unite the youths of Treasure Beach helping them to build their self confidence as well as making Treasure Beach a more united community, brining the old and the young, together but more importantly, to get the youths in the community active.

I await the feedbacks.
Sincerely.

TBgirl 28, you have a brilliant idea for the youths of treasure Beach, but a formal introduction of yourself would be great so residents can know who they are entrusting their kids to. Food for thought!!!

Love the idea TBgirl28. Many of us from TB would love to participate in one way or the other. While not a fan of "beauty contests", you have my full encouragement.

Thanks for the support everyone.
At Student,I do not wish to have a beauty pageant, however, more of a grooming competition, most aware and best talent.
If any one knows of persons, preferred between the ages of 15-25 that want to be apart of the executive body please tell them to email me asap.
I also need to speak with someone from the Breds foundation..
Again thanks for the support and it will be a pleasure giving back to my community.
