The "Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society" from Florida headed by the Director Dr. Kenneth Webster and a medical team of 22 Doctors, Nurses, and Medical Students in conjuction with TBWG held another successful health clinic at the Diabetes Center in Pedro Plains this past week.

They counted 249 medical encounters & had a few extra that might not have filled out the forms. It started slowly which was really good because it gave them a chance to organize their supplies. They also made notes of medications & supplies to bring in the future. They provided over 60 school physicals.

Dr. Dale Thames who practices in Junction volunteered along side of the doctors and assisted in filling out prescriptions, etc.
He has been a consistant supporter, and a tremendous help over the years.

This would make over 1,250 persons served in the last 5 years of teams visiting Treasure beach.

This was all masterminded by Janet and Erik Nichols MacPeek.

Last year Celeste Anderson of TBWG was honored to receive from them the "2011 Distinguished Service Award" for her dedicated service and loyalty to the Jamaican Medical Clinics.

We sincerely thank The Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society and Erik and Janet MacPeek for their continued dedication and service to the greater Treasure Beach community.
