Axel, as a new or second hand unit would most likely be too costly for us, a good volume water pump/hose delivery and storage tank would be next best.

The pump could be powered by an electric generator and all carried on a small truck, it may look funky but should do much better than nothing. Any old chevy pickups around? There would have to be local firefighting volunteers who have had training in fire control.

Come to think of it, water pumps, generators and large water containers are all available between Cross Road and Southfield. Somebody must have an old pickup parked. Unless there is $ for a crissers.

Probably can get the right hose in Kingston. Maybe Mr Deer has a brass fire hose nozzel?
