I have an idea we could build a concrete billbord some where on the beach,or maYbe on the group house wall out side or inside, used it to write all the fisher men name's that lost their life at sea, that would be a nice way to honour them.
Just yesterday my hubby & I were talking about Snowboy...How many fishermen was on it? I hav a very close reletive who was on it...I'm in agreement with the above post 100%
How about something a little more appealing to the eye than concrete. Concrete this and concrete that. I am so sick of seeing concrete everywhere.
Glenn i'm not talking about any cheap concrete wall what i'm talking about is concrete that going to be cover with MABLE TILE
correcting my spelling it's MARBLE
What exactly is the the details of "Snowboy" ? I have search the web and only know that it was a fishing/boating accident. Why and how was there 39 people on a fishing boat ?
ONE LOVE !!
Mike
Mike, "Snowboy" was a mother vessell that was capable of carrying the small canoes plus their crews and provisions to the cays. Snowboy was on one such mission from Kingston to Pedro Cays. Many of the fishermen from Treasure Beach journeyed to Kingston and boarded the boat there. It is believed that it was badly overloaded and capsized and sank as a result.
