This morning an electrical fire destroyed stock and building of the store room at Jack Sprat - no damage was done to the main restaurant.

The management and staff of Jack Sprat would like to thank the numerous community members for the overwhelming support demonstrated. In particular we want to highlight Seymour 'aka Natty P', Dwayne 'aka Ratty', John Morrison, Miss Yvonne, Dockery, Darin, Kamal 'aka Max', Andrew Scott, Alphy, Lenky, Eric, Rudyann (aka Slider), Kennedy, Loy, Andre, Annabelle and many many more who came to put out the fire. We also want to thank Sergeant Howard Nembhard and his team from the fire department. Sorry to hear of the damage done but glad to hear no one was injured and that the main structure was untouched.

Also glad to hear of everyone coming together to put the fire out. Jack Sprat is very important to this community. I add my thanks to all who helped out.
