ILLUSTRATIONS BLEND HUMANS INTO ANIMALS & VICE VERSA...VERSES:

Madrid-based artist Gabriel Moreno blends illustration and printmaking into incredibly intricate, organic images. His pieces are ethereal constructions of (mostly) women, their hair melding into an animal or their body turning into a blanket of rainbows.

Love the link z. These pieces remind me of artwork that were en vogue a decade or two ago. I'm not sure how they were classified but they seemed mostly like black and white etchings with "hidden" images in the background. To see the images you had to look almost as if staring into space (like cross-eyed or peripherally), and then go deeper inside the picture to see what were behind the scenes. These were mostly aquatic so, for example, you were able to see dolfins swimming, or coral on the seabed, if you understood how to "look' at the picture.
