As our contribution to Culture Fest 2012 we salute the essence of Treasure Beach, a laid back, friendly, community-oriented village, that’s off the beaten track with an unbelievable store of undiscovered treasures.
We are proud to be home to descendants of all the races and ethnic groups that make Jamaica unique, the English, the Indians, the Scottish, the Germans, the Tainos, and the Africans.
The hall mark of the events of Taino Cove is audience participation and everyone will have an opportunity to display their treasures or to see themselves represented on stage as well as in the craft, the food, the music and the performances displays.
Come to “A Treasure Hunt of Fashion and Tales” and hear stories you have never heard before from people you did not know were story tellers. Bring the entire family and enjoy the surprises that will unfold. It is a Treasure Hunt.
