Treasure Beach Cricket Club will be playing at Treasure Beach Sports Park Sun, Feb 5, 12, 19, 26, and Mar 5th starting @ 10am. There will be a junior and masters Twenty / 20 games held on these Sundays. Please spread the word.
Do you have to know how to play? Can you use your hands for this one? Can we call it "American Baseball" change the terminology, and have each game last less than a month? If these terms are agreeable and especially if they are not, and you need players in the masters division I could become the next Brian Lara!

More information on the matches. The Masters will be playing from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and the Juniors will be playing from 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Roger, perhaps you would be surprised at how quickly a Twenty/20 cricket match ends and how much more exciting than baseball it can be!
Suspend your skepticism for a few hours and then come back and give us your impressions.
I have to say I was of the same opinion as Roger about cricket being a long and boring game to watch. Of course, I felt the same way about baseball too. But then Miss Mary Genus and Miss Ditty started to explain cricket to me when I brought the Sandy Bank boys to their matches. Then Silvan James taught me the ins and outs of the game with his passion for the sport being infectious and now I love watching a good match!
Roger I suggest you go to the matches on Sunday and sit next to someone who can explain the game to you. You may end up being a convert same as me. And Fan is absolutely correct, the Twenty/20 matches move very quickly.
Then you can go to Sunset Resort and watch the Super Bowl. Wow, a great day for all kinds of sports!!
Cricket is a great game to play even if one doesn't understand it. I want to be drafted for the senior seniors.
The following are two photos sent in by Breds from Sunday's match.
I attended part of the cricket tournament on Sunday. It was a good crowd and in spite of very strong winds the matches played through.
I went with a few "younger" friends so I'm afraid I didn't get to watch much cricket as most of my time was spent at the "Pirate Ship". The kids had a great time at the ship and it was a lovely day for all ages.
