To those we hold dear in Treasure Beach,

I have no idea who will read this, but I just wanted to let anyone who wondered; we have not forgotten. Kim and I think and speak of Treasure Beach (and those who live there) often. We haven't been able to find our way down in almost two years. We would love to jump on a silver bird and come visit what we consider our second home. It's not for lack of money or time that prevents us from doing so. My 98 year old mother is still living in her own home on Cape Cod. She is a remarkable woman and, all and all, it is a blessing that she is still able to be, mostly, independant. However, I am not comfortable being too far away from her for very long. Ironically, I may have to adjust my thoughts and emotions. My mother has always had a goal of reaching 100 years. Recently, she has "raised the bar" and is now talking about living until she is 105. Kim and I will never be able to stay away from our friends in Treasure Beach for that long. So, we will have to make the necessary arrangements. Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone a shout out and let anyone who might care that we miss you all and we will be in Fisherman's as soon as we can.

Respect and love,

Peyton (and Kim) Beals
Wrentham, Massachusetts

I HEAR YA! I purchased a plane ticket last year and thought "I don't know how I will come up with the rest of the money to go". Times are sure tough for many of us including a newly single woman supporting herself for the first time in her life, lol.

I miss TB so much and I think my friends must be sick of hearing about it because they decided that they need to make this next trip with me.

By the grace of these friends and my very loving and thoughtful daughter and family the money miraculously came in, little by little. I received a very special piggy bank that my daughter put together with donations from my loved ones for Christmas. This piggy bank sealed the deal! I am happy to report and beside myself with anticipation of my return in February to beautiful Treasure Beach! I am even more ecstatic to share the magic of TB with three of my friends. Now THEY will catch the fever!
ONE LOVE PEYTON! TB WAITS FOR YOU TOO!!!

Greetings to all my Noble Jamaican sisters and brothers on the best Island in the world. I had visited Treasure Beach in the early 90s and wish to return with my family once again for a visit.
I am an acquaintance of Dr Glaceta Honeyghan while she was here in Massachusetts USA. I have lost contact over the years, and would very much like to get in touch with her. Please, if you know of her whereabouts to let her know. She is one of the nicest and kindest person I've ever known. My visit to TB was with a group from the Roxbury Community College, MA, USA where she was a professor, I was a student who also served as Student President during that time. Dr.Glaceta Honeyghan had also invited the whole group for dinner in her lovely home. I cannot forget her warm hospitality towards us. We stayed at Dr. Jean McGuire's Villas near to Treasure Beach Hotel or Villa. We were treated very well, everyone was so helpful and nice. My email address is lornabettyjamaica@gmail.com. I am on Facebook as Lorna Betty.

Thanks for this forum.

Hi Lorna. Glad to hear you had such a good experience in TB and we certainly hope you will return again some day. I've passed on your email address to Miss Glasceta so, hopefully, she will contact you soon.

Sending you Jamaican warmth!

Hi littlemamalisa. Nice to see you are returning to the place that evidently keeps a piece of your heart. I understand how you feel as, like Tony Bennet, I also left my heart in a certain Northern California coastal city.

I was hoping this would be the trip that I'd meet you, but it seems I'll be there mid-to-late March and a little too late for an encounter. Wishing you a totally blissful time in Treasure Beach....again.
