Wedding Venue Recommendations Desired

Treasure Beach Forum: TB Runnin's: Wedding Venue Recommendations Desired

I am interested in recommendations for a place for a wedding and reception in Treasure Beach. My fiance and I do not have a firm date but we are thinking of sometime from April to June of 2013. We would have about 20 to 25 guests and would need accommodations for about 2/3 of them. My dream is to get married on the beach or overlooking the beach. We would also want to be able to serve a delicious dinner to our guests and we would also like dancing afterward. Before I start contacting various places to see what they offer I would like to hear from people who have been married in Treasure Beach to get their recommendations. I would also like to hear from people who might be able to suggest places they think are particularly beautiful that have a reputation for making things very nice for the guests even if they do not know if those places handle weddings. We do not want some package deal that a place such as Sandals offers. Any ideas would be very welcome.

Rainbow Tree is gorgeous and their staff is tops. They also have a sister villa and I would imagine their staff from both villas can work together. They have also recently redecorated even though we did not find it necessary but they endeavor to keep their place tip top. I am not sure if they do weddings but I cannot imagine why they could not do so. We love it there.

Jakes, Jack Sprat, Marblue, Sunset Resort, and Taino Cove are all lovely spots for a wedding.

The place that used to be called Coyaba is something else now. I have never been inside but it's beautiful from the outside. Patsy used to rent it for weddings. Spectacular view from there.

What used to be Coyaba is now Rainbow Point. I think it was bought about 5 years ago. I've been inside and it's pretty with comfortable furnishings and a lot of nice pictures. I agree the view is spectacular.

I Would also like to suggest Button Bay Beach Getaway. We have several areas on the property that are great for weddings and receptions up to 100 people. Look at the site. I have done several weddings and I enjoy the planning.

For a hotel I would suggest Sunset Resort because you will get more personalized treatment; the owner lives right on the property. For a villa I would suggest Rainbow Tree because it is so beautiful and the staff is amazing.

Have not been on this site for too long. Curious if Melody and Tom reached any conclusions based on what people wrote here or from any other investigating they did.

With 10 bedrooms/10 bathrooms, a quarter acre lawn, a pool, and a view of the coast line, Two Seasons Guest House, www.2seasonsguesthouse.com, is ideal for a small, intimate wedding. We will help you plan your special day.

If you choose to have the ceremony elsewhere and still need accommodation for your guests, we will also be happy to assist. We have group rates.

All the best
