Hi,
My wife and I are looking for a small house within 10-20 miles from Treasure Beach. We would like to rent the house for a few months each winter.
Any help in this quest would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Wes
Try Maisie Campbell who owns San Dune in Great Bay. Near beach. Has pool.
Think its listed on this site.

why 10 to 20 miles from Treassure Beach?
That is odd.
Why not rent a little closeer to the beach so you can enjoy a morning swim and the beautiful sunset in the evenings right there in the heart of TB.
Just curious.
Hi ''just curious'',
We have visited Jamaica the last 3 falls and spent 2 weeks each visit. We have spent most of our time in Negril and it has been costly but we have had a wonderful time. Each time our stay has been at Coco Lapalm right on Negril beach.
We just got home a few days ago from Jamaica and spent a day at Treasure beach (our second visit to TB) and decided we want to spend out winters near this area.
The answer to your question is simple..it would be cost prohibitive to stay for 3 months right on the beach for us.
We also love Jamaica's inland and believe we can find a lovely small home to rent for much less money there...and are comfortable using local route taxis to visit the ocean as often as we desire..as well as the mountains and other areas of Jamaica that we would love to explore!!
Take care
Wes
Thanks Wes I got your point.
Hope you will be successfull in finding the right place at the right price.
I know nothing is cheap anymore but, some of the rentals in TB is rediculous. They are asking far too much nightly for a room.
Good luck and have a good visit.
Wow,
The responses/help I have received has been unbelievable! It just affirms that not only is TB incredibly beautiful but the people of TB will be the best neighbors we could hope for!!!!
Thank you so much for all the informative emails I have received.
I want to make it clear that I believe the prices in TB are very fair! I know that the owners of the establishments in TB have many costs associated with running their businesses (ie: taxes, insurances..on and on)and I am in no way questioning the rates charged so close to the ocean in ''paradise''.
I am a simple carpenter in the state of Maine, USA so I am not a man of wealth. That is why we are searching for a dwelling place that fits our budget.
We are just a couple that has fallen in love with TB and are ready to escape our brutal winters and can't wait to explore your ''paradise'' and spend time getting to know the people of TB!!!
Your blessed to live there!!
Thanks so much
Wes
Hi,
Did you ever find your perfect rental?
I would love to be able to stay a month or two in TB when I retire, but also always thought it would be too costly for me.
Curious to know what you found out.
Thanks!
