Tommorow is the last day of the annual Antiques Fair in Kingston.

Good old things for collectors and great vibes.

Long to go back to the three sisters* and their friends in the Great Bay.

*The old red corn, powerful pumpkin and a mix of peas. The peas climb the corn and nitrogenate the soil, the pumpkin runs on the ground and shades the soil. I'm sure complex interreactions/communication happens between them all. Many of our farmers have retained this Taino and old Mainland practice of stewarding the three sisters. Along with Callaloo seeds of the huge old varieties of Amaranth, ones nutritional needs are well provided for. Thanks to Kingcheck for hunting out the corn seeds, they are not easy to find.
