How about a government program, with sufficient advertising (from existing fees), to promote small, family-run, community-enhancing properties (licensed Guest Houses, B&Bs, Villas)?...to help fill ready, vacant, under-utilized rooms. Promises ...Promises...

I wish the Jamaican government while collecting taxes from guest houses, B & B's, and resorts included all in a directory so when you journey to a new town, you'd know where there is lodging. The big resorts and villas have plenty of information but it's almost impossible to find information for small towns besides TB.
