Just checking if there are any fishing spots in Treasure Beach or St Elizabeth on whole where I can cast out my line using a Rod and reel?

What is normally use for bait?

I doubt there are any bait and tackle shops so I am sure I have to bring my own.

Looking forward to enjoy St Elizabeth in a week from now.

Also where can I watch NFL Football on Sundays and Monday nights again, especially the New England Patriots games?

Hi Rob, we are in treasure beach on holiday just now and my fiance loves fishing and knows some of the good local fishermen, you two could hook up , pardon the pun! The whole of treasure beach is a fishing spot however the harbours are perticularly good for tarpon up to 100 lbs. The best bait is small dead fish which the local fishermen will give you freely(or a red stripe) when they come back from sea every night usually between 4-6pm
If you do want to fish for tarpon tackle up as mark has already lost really big ones this past few days. Use minimum 50lb nylon line as there alot of sharp rocks about and you need a big reel! Take a smaller reel to have some fun with the reef fish too. As for gears you must take your own theres not anything available here. Billys bay is good early morning 6am.

Rob, I think John is pulling your legs. Even the most amateur fisherman would never think of fishing great pond. You may be able to catch a few off the Bluff in Great Bay. If you are a good swimmer, you could get a little spear fishing in as well. Folks there would be happy to show you how to get there. Good luck.

Rob,I fish often in TB one of my fav spots is the west end of frenchman beach up over the point. There you can wade out on to a ledge that is covered with about a foot of water.Fish the drop off.Make sure you wear thick sole sandals. There are lots of reef fish there I would suggest you use altra light rod with no more than 4lb line and a num 14 hook. The fish have small mouths but are very aggressive. You can find bait around the base of the rocks at the waters edge. There you will find sea cochroach and other snail like creatures that can be broke open and used for bait they work very well. I have never fished great pond nor have I ever seen anyone fish there. I do know a guy that had fish pots there and he caught a lot of pan fish that were much like a crappie. GOOD LUCK
