And more.
Saw a pair with black pointed beaks and golden chest feathers. The wings were black and white at the ends. My bird person had no idea. Anyone?
A study of the animals and plants of the Pedro Plains and Hills would guide the 'Eco' in Ecotourism.
Turey: Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Ecotourism!
Turey - you don't mention size but they may be glossy ibis - usually under casha trees on damp/swampy ground. Do they have down turned beaks?
Do we have to wait on the Ministry of Tourism, the Parish Council, Jason Henzell and the others that speak about Ecotourism to tell us how to do it? We who started it and have been refining it for decades. Instead they bring in an expert from a Northern URBAN institute to advise them? Then they in turn advise us?
Are there any tax and other concessions for those practising Ecotourism, as there are for the hotels and others?
Short triangular beak. More like this Sage Thrasher Uncle Peter:

The beak shorter. Confident birds with prominent chests. The golden body feathers are what made me notice them.
