By Rebecca on Monday, August 22, 2011 - 05:49 pm: Edit PostThe Treasure Beach Community Development Committee comprised of the Treasure Beach Citizens Alert Group, BREDS, and The Treasure Beach Women's Group got together a few weeks ago and made a presentation to a committee from Digicel, JNBS, and other sponsors who are, once again, hosting the Best Community Awards. I am happy to report Treasure Beach won for Best Community in St. Elizabeth along with several other awards which are listed below. On Thursday representatives from each group will be traveling to Kingston to hear the announcement for the best community in Jamaica. Let's send out those positive vibes and have them bring back this award. Hey, we all know already Treasure Beach is the best community but it would be nice to have it official!
