I've noticed a lot of your posts center on the theme of Man's inhumanity to Man. You've injected it into the thread about animal dumping and others.

May I ask what was done to you to make this such a prominent theme in your life?

Or ---and this is 100% serious--- do you just like to stir the pot and add add devil's advocate posts to keep things "interesting"?

I haven't noticed whether or not Spooky Dude has focused overly much on man's inhumanity to man. Though I don't think there is anything more worthy of ongoing discussion than man's inhumanity to man - or, for that matter, man's inhumanity to the planet as well.

? Nothing was done to me, I have seen many ackee seasons and I am aware of man's inhumanity to man. When I see people making a fuss over 'rats',I question their motive; I just can't reconcile the concern for dumb animals with the apparent disregard for the human condition. I do sometimes make comments to stir interesting debates, but I have strong convictions which I express from time to time. Frankly, I think people who are overly zealous about things like turtles and CO2 and such things, are just being 'trendy', and have no real concern or understanding of such matters.

There is NOTHING WRONG with a good respectful discussion of any topic, situation, are event !!!
And on this forum, you are welcome to join in are not.

Spooky I fail to see how you can make such judgements about someone posting something on the internet. As far as I can see, most people, including you Dude, use aliases on this site. So without knowing the poster personally, how could you draw such conclusions? Amazing you are Mr Dude!

Oh I see Spooky Dude, you weren't referring to people posting on this site. How convenient to make that distinction at the moment. As for impressions, those are sometimes inaccurate too. Case in point: I'm not "Mr".

It is my impression that you seem to take a contrarian view of any environmentally conservative position one takes whether based on science or aesthetics. At what point does empirical data enter the picture and rhetoric exits?

OK Miss wow,sorry about that gender mix up,but I was merely using the Mr to jibe with your calling me Mr Dude, but please, that makes no case in point. Ask all the scientists who are getting large grants to study all kinds of things and make all kinds of pronouncements so that they can continue to get funding.
However, I am not against us taking care of our environment, and I am sorry you got the impression you have, but I am not sure what you mean by "environmentally conservative position".
It wasn't a matter of convenience, it was just the truth, and I did not really want to point out that your question was not founded in logic, as I did not even say anything about people posting or about aliases. So there you have it. AND further you just contradicted yourself. But don't worry. One LOve.

SD, from your other postings I now understand what happened to you. I hope you are able to grow from your experiences and allow for more light and less heat to form your opinions. Its a tough journey and not for everyone. But its worth it.
