There are many options, to fit all budgets if you click on the where to stay button on this site.

Another option not listed on this site is BeBe's Place, http://www.bebesplace.com/

You will find BeBe's Place very clean, quiet, comfortable and very private. The property is in the heart of Frenchmen's Bay, across the road from the sea and a short walk to shops, cookshops and bars.

Enjoy your visit to Treasure Beach and make sure to eat some fried chicken cooked by Angie at Diner's Delight .... she makes some of the wickedest fried chicken.

One Love

To J&J
When are you planning to come? Two Seasons should have a pool by September and the rates are in your ball park.

"From Treasure Beach" I myself did not know it was so expensive to stay at those guest houses in Treasure Beach. I was planning to stop at one for Christmas Holidays 2011, but I will not pay so much myself. No wonder the guest houses have to be empty most of the time.

Christmas holidays are nearly the most expensive time of the year because there are so many Jamaicans returning home, and so many others have longs holidays from work or school. Airfares are very steep at that time of year. Select a less popular time and you may have some room to negotiate.

Because Treasure Beach is some what off the beaton track, does not mean that the rates cannot be what they are. There are properties here that are inexpensive because you have to provide your own towels etc. The others you have to share a bathroom, some are very rustic and there are others where there is a pool, beach, a/c, fridge in the rooms, and other amenities just like a all inclusive hotel. With light bills as they are in Jamaica and you use AC, tv, have a private bathroom with hot water, housekeeper to make up your rooms everyday, then there ie the government room tax and service charge that is added.

If you want accommodations for US$25.00 a night for one person, do not expect a lot of amenities. hot water, rooms with private bathrooms. It is not much to ask US$90,00 for two people per night and you get a continental breakfast.

In Treasure Beach, you get what you pay for.

From Treasure Beach

May I suggest that you contact some of the guest houses that may suit your needs and see if you can negotiate a rate
Since it is the off season you may be able to make an arrangement that fits your budget which if I may say so is not so unreasonable

We have stayed at BeBe's Place and really enjoyed it. Found it to be extremely clean - and very private, even though it is right in the centre of Frenchman's.

Maybe someone knows if Billy is still renting rooms at CocoNut Cottage - I believe that would be within your budget as well. I have no contact info....maybe a reader here will have contact info for CocoNut Cottage also in the centre of it all and very private, clean and nice.

You can get a real budget room at Fisherman's Bar, just don't forget that you get what you pay for......is all I am gonna say
