After the negative meeting in Kgn. with NWA and other Govt. officials with promises of coming on site, the GTB/CABS cannot take anymore of the wait and see, so planning for a demonstration is in the making.(Date to be anounced.)
With the Great Pond almost full, the simplest Huricane flooding will drown Great Bay again.

See...hopefully now you all will quit listening to false promises. Why did I see this coming, and why was I so dissapointed the the demonstration was cancelled? Because history said that this would be the outcome.

Go back to the plan of a peaceful demonstration. Be certain there will be media coverage. Have a spokesperson who knows all the facts to speak to the press. Have members of the community who have already been affected with prior flooding ready and willing to talk to the press.

The only thing that may help now is to embarrass officials in a very public way.

When this project started (at the very begin)was/nt there money allocated for the completion of this project or this was just a political gimmick, anyway peaceful demonstration ,stand up and be counted.

"To Mr. Bowl" said it right! This may be your best shot at grabbing the national attention, so you need to do it right. It will be MANDATORY to have someone there who can speak clearly, fluently and with great knowledge of the situation. The last thing you want to do is look rather silly. Maybe Spooky Dude could be this spokesman? I think someone of his confidence, mastery of the english language and passion for TB makes him the perfect choice

Did the original plan include more than the canal from the Great Pond to the sea?

This is plain sad. Talk talk talk. Complain complain complain. Do nothing. I am sick of reading about this. The next thing will be flooded out people begging for help.

Could not have said it better than 'Sad' did. I am also sick of reading complaints and griping from people on this site. I do not mind reading complaints if people bother to try some of the suggestions. This is reminding me of someone looking for work and complaining they are broke but not taking the time and effort to look for a job if they have not gotten one after going on only two interviews. Then they stick their hand out and want me to put my hard earned money in it. No way. Sorry.

Sad and Sad Too. Why don't either or both of you step up to the plate and help so you don't have to send anyone any more of your money? Don't give up on your people so easily.
