Today is International Fisherman's Day. Let us take a moment to remember not only those who are lost at sea but also those who continue to go out to sea risking their lives each time.
Roe fisherman roe, lots of mouths to be fed.Much respect to your bravery and sacrifice and hard work to bring us food.
Just wondering who is the oldest and youngest fisherman in TB.
Strength and courage for those who have lost loved ones at sea.
Thanks for bringing this to attention Rebecca. Fishing is in all of us from Treasure Beach, men and women alike, so I applaud whomever came up with this idea. Braver and more noble men you'll never find. Respect to all fishermen all over the world!
International Fisherman's Day:
What a beautiful thought.
My dad was a fisherman but not the far sea fisherman that really put their lives on the line to bring in the big catch while gone for days in inclement weather, or those that leave for months to go to the Pedro Cays and live in harsh environments just to support their families.
He just went to where a binocular with a 24x zoom could show him in his boat.(Smile)
Love you papa.
Thanks Rebecca for this wonderful thought.
To all the families and friends that has lost dear ones to that big wide ocean my thoughts and prayers are always with you.
