That is interesting as I have never seen them anywhere, stands or supermarkets. Wonder why limes are more popular.

That is interesting...I have never seen lemons here myself...but we always make lemonade..with limes. Mr lemons, where about are these lemons found? Could you be talking about sour oranges? I have limes as big as oranges.
Hey Spookt did you mean Spooky. Or are you afraid someone may attack you!

Actually, my experience of Jamaican lemons is that they are not very good. Not partcularly juicy and they look a bit ugly!

However, there is nothing in this world to touch the quality and flavour of Jamaican and West Indian limes. They are the tops and I cannot bear to be without them when in Trasure Beach so I always send out advance notice to Miss Vanny and she always manages to locate some to greet our arrival.

There are tons of lemons on the sandy hill behind the Treasure Beach Hotel and the Hill residence, which used to be Prof's place...

Present SD. Good question. I don't think Ja has any endemic citruses...? Seville oranges speak of the Spanish, they must have brought in other varieties. If lemons are thriving in the Pedro Plains, they should do so almost anywhere else.

Maybe we just love that intense lime so much.

I'll try to get some seeds.

Hey Spookt Disciple or is it DiscLiple!! Your fingers seem to be slipping!! Spookt Discliple!! A legend indeed sire. Lots of good things came about as a result of 'accidents'! I do get it Spkt.D.
What I don't get however is the lemon story. I hope I can discover the true story. I have never seen any lemons growing in Ja or really seen lemons on sale.
