I'm looking for a cleans, safe comfortable place for a solo week on the CHEAP.
I will be in TB with family for a few days and then a couple days in Porty. I'm thinking going some where else for the rest of the trip.

Some places that have crossed my mind are in The Belmont area and Alligator Pond.

I have also toyed with going as far away as Oracabessa.

i have a great place to recommend for belmont if you have not heard of it....

nature roots cottage, just steps away from the sea and a extremely peaceful rasta yard
i would have to say that its one of the best values in all of jamaica
check brian for yourself.....

brian is also an extremely talented craver/woodworker, worth stopping to check his workshop alone

Looks like my cup of tea.

Have you stayed there TW?

i have visited brian's yard on a number of occasions on those occasions i have had opportunity to talk to guests in the yard

brian's guests come from all over europe, north america, you just never know who you may run into

i have always only heard wonderful things about brian and his family from his guests, nothing that i didn't already know, :-)

i have had friends stay in the yard and they were most happy and satisfied and felt safe at all times

you will find the website a pretty good representation of what you may find there, only maybe just a bit fresher in my eyes

the yard is great, so green and lush, all kinds of vegetation growing everywhere

brian is a real rastaman and he and his family live a rasta life, really truly a great cultural experience for everyone, rasta have so much to teach the rest of the world....

i feel confident in saying that you would have a great stay should you choose nature roots cottage

one love
