Hi - we are looking to rent a villa in November 2004. We went to Treasure Beach a year ago and loved it. We stayed at Sparkling Waters and loved it too. We would, however, like to be closer to Jakes and Fishermans, etc...

Can you suggest any villas in walking distance that would work for us?

My family is looking to rent a villa and Lyric looks like it fits our needs. We are a family of 5, with 3 kids ages 8-16. We have rented a villa on the other side of Montego Bay and would like to explore this part of the island.

COuld you give me more information on Lyric: what is the bedding & bathrrom configuration? what is included with the villa, snorkle gear or anything like that? What hours does the cook work?

It would be best if you contact Lyric directly at lyricjamaica@rogers.com. Lyric does has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and sets on a hill overlooking Calabash Bay beach. It is a great place and Polly is fabulous!

Hi I returned from Treasure Beach last week after spending 3 magnificent weeks at Sunset Resort. We got married whilst over there. The staff at Sunset were all wonderful. Having visited Jamaica twice before. I would now never consider staying anywhere else on the Island other than Treasure Beach. The Beach is almost deserted. You can hear the waves crashing in at night whilst sitting on your balcony and the food everywhere around the area is not only very cheap but also tastes fantastic. Now I am back in cold and wet England and cant wait to go back again next Christmas. Thank you for your website which has introduced me to this amazing holiday destination.

you might also want to check out blue marlin in great bay, its a four bedroom right on the beach, great for kids as great bay is a very sheltered and safe bay. bluemarlinvillas@cwjamaica.com

I might add that the beach at Blue Marlin is the best beach in TB... of course that's just my opinion.
It's sandy and wide. No reef. Fairly calm most days.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Lyric. We had a perfect time. Lot's of room for a family of five. It seemed Polly worked around your schedule. She was there for breakfast and for dinner. Every meal was delicious. Lancel is a great guy. Big yard for the kids to play around. Time to start planning our return!
