We - George and Debrah - are coming down to TB for 5 days the 14th of March. Have been reading about this interesting community and am greatly looking forward to seeing and learning more. We like to attend community events if they are open, so if there is anything that week on, please let us know.
We have acquaintances - Sue and Milt - who have been coming for years, likely some of you know them. Milt had his big 60th birthday party last night! We are rural people so we are looking forward to trying to fit into village life. Any recommendations greatly welcome. Thank you for this interesting website. I have been reading for months! (to see the struggle for development vs environmental and cultural sustainability is one that many of us share and I can tell it is an important dialogue in this community)
Sue and Milt are good people. Have a nice time in TB.
Going to TB, if you are not from the BIG CITY, you will love it, people will act like if they know you for years...have a good time,,,just RELAXXXX
dear george and deb, my wife and i have been visiting for seven years (from california)and have really fallen for the greater community. while you are in the area, may i reccomend a visit to the caijan museum and gallery, near ft. charles. the owner curator, john deer is a wonderful and knowledgeable person. i suggest that you call in advance, as the gallery may be a challenge to find with only local directions. his number is 866.566.0054 feel free to contact me personally at jbidmon@comcast.net if you would wish to have more information, etc. enjoy your stay. you will be back. be well. good to all. jeffrey
cars do not get to his place, maybe he´s got the road fix, but last time I was there, only a 4X4 mountain vehicle could make it, once you are there, it is COOL, all done by John D
Great walk but call first.
