Is there a place to rent a scooter to get around without having to go to Black River? we just want to be able to cruise around the area, maybe go to Frenchmans, etc and explore without dealing with crazy drivers...is this possible?

I was also told that there is a place (it's painted pink?) called Hueys maybe? Anyway, they sell them, but they also have one that they rent out. When we were there last month, that one was rented out.

so is this true that Garnet Staple is not renting out scooters anymore ? things sometimish, that so in Jamaica

Sounds like there is a market that is untapped....

Take a hard right at Kingfisher Plaza if you are heading west from Great Bay and the large pink building on the right has scooters out front for rent. I was quoted $40/day.
