Someone told me the price almost doubled. Is this true? Can you tell me the cost for an adult and a child and what is included in this price.
Admission fee for Appleton is $22 US per adult and $15 US per child 6 – 11 Yrs. old. They are closed on Sundays
Some of our guests got charged $25 each. They were all adults.
This tour is not worth the price !!!!
You can buy a bottle of Appleton cheaper !

Mike and all, what changes would you suggest to the folks at Appleton to make the tour more interesting and worth the $?
It has been our experience that our guests love the tour, especially the taste testing at the end! Appleton continues to improve on it adding more and more to see or experience each year. If you haven't been in the last year or two you should try it again.
One of the Most Breath-taking drives in ALL Jamaica is the back road leading north-eastery from YS Falls on windy mountain roads towards Maggotty and onward to Appleton Estate. Further, along the way you'll become more intimate with a tamer Black River and the glorious spread of the Nassau Valley.
The price of admission is a decent historical tour of cane and rum processing with a variety of historical equipment and implements and aging wooden casks which share a history with American bourbon.
Appleton Rum is now producing aged sipping rums which rank with the finest brandies anywhere!
The price gets you a relatively unlimited Tasting of a wide variety of Appleton liquors. These are potions that you will not want to spit out...sober up (or use Treasure Tours) since that mountainous return trip could be dizzying if you don't choose the Holland Bamboo route.
Yes Z, I've tasted properly aged rum. They get better with age. I remember old bottles and casks forbidden to the younger. I was wondering if Appleton was allowing any of their specisl things for tasting. The $25 is what I'd expect on the East Coat of the USA for a museum tour with tea or a toast
They do not have tropical sunshine in a bottle.
Taking about drives, flooded Newmarket is another world. The UWI should visit. Strange fish are being consumed with relish. Happened in the Falmouth swamp last weather too.
OK
I have not been in a while, but the time that I did go, it was not much to mention.
You saw one old cane press, and a couple of old casts, had a sample taste and that was it.
So what is so different now ? Curious to know.

For some reason I am recalling an admission price of $12 not that long ago. I must be out of touch.
