Initiated in 2004, 6 years ago. As part of the Vision 2030 Jamaica, National Development Plan.

The core of the plan is to guide us to Sustainable Development. I'm happy that the Cabinet has recognised the need for such a plan.

Now for the implementation. 24 years left and It's the first I've heard of this.

Has Out of Many Two Peoples been factored in?

I look forward to this. Is anyone ready to live Sustainably? The members of the Cabinet and the Civil Service are the first that should be setting an example by practicing what the Cabinet has wisely proposed. At least not get in the way of those that are ready.

I hope not Beth. Yet it may be a UN thing that we signed to and have to go through the motions to keep the accountants happy.

Who is the minister of the environment?

I can understand why this hasn't gone anywhere turey. I read it and there is no there there; just vague platitude.

When I see the Parish Councils working with the Ministry of the Environment to create compost from market wastes, that will be a sign. Next comes collection of organic material from households. Then we will see if we householders can adapt to sorting the 'garbage' that we'll get back as natural fertiliser and more.

And more.

Supernatural Jamaica. That's what they want and we certainly need.

Looks like we have some good work cut out for us. I hope the proposers are ready to walk the talk. So many are.
