We're contacting several places to reserve our week in Treasure Beach and have found many of them are being booked up much faster than they were last year. It could be all the snow here. But this is a word to the wise. Get in touch with your favorite places ASAP so you won't be disappointed.

Stop complaining, Stuck in Boston. I can't get out my front door. The TV is reporting 800+ snow related car accidents so far this morning.

Just spoke with a few of my family and friends in Massachusetts . . . don't know why some of them didn't want to talk to me?!?!

My brother said 14 inches on the ground already and predictions are of possibly 14 more.

And yes, everytime there is a major snow storm somewhere we see our number of emails increase. Usually not the day of the storm but certainly about 2 - 3 days afterwards.

This guy has been singing to me for the last 20 minutes. Absolutely beautiful.

That's an awesome photo Daniel!!

To Jeanieb, I was watching my cat playing in the back yard today and was wondering how she would react to snow. I always loved watching dogs frolicking in the snow. What state are you sending these photos from?

Keep those photos coming!

Rebecca, we are in Ohio.
Our cats stay indoors most of the time but they have snuck out in the snow before. They hate it. One paw in the snow and back in the house they come.

Daniel that is an awesome eagle photo and how blessed to be able to witness that from your house.

Portsmouth, NH got 2+' yesterday, how much did you get in your part of Maine? I had friends that said about the same...there is threat of another small storm by next week. I hope not there is A Lot of snow here!

Happy warm TB thoughts to you.

Two feet?!?! Sending you lots of Jamaican sunshine Nicole so it will melt quickly.

As a Yankee at heart, I have to say, I wouldn't mind a nice walk in the snow for a while, hearing the silence of the snow fall, smelling that freshly fallen snow smell, making a snow man, shoveling the walkway, walking to the nearest bar for a good cognac, but then I want to be transported back here immediately!

Hang in there Nicole!

Hi Rebecca,

Yea it is pretty deep and Portsmouth, NH DPW is really not on top of clean up removal this year...a little treturous at times. :} A good cognac/scotch is recommended.

Yesterday we woke up to 6° -- my dog was loving it! Joseph and I on other other hand just kept talking about TB, we will take all of the warm JA sunshine energy you can send. :-)

We hope everyone coming to island during the cold months thaw out and throughly enjoy themselves. One Love!

Hi Rebecca,

Your picture reminded me of all my visits waking up early in the mornings grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on my mom's veranda/porch watching the sun as it slowly comes up over the Santa Cruz Mountain then comes the arrival of the the doctor birds and butterflies fluttering around while I gaze out at the calm blue ocean and the village below.

What a beautiful view. Talk about Tranquility that alone does it for me.
Will try to post some pictures (old and new)
I promise.

Hi Rebecca,
It will take me a little while to do this as I am on a mission for the better and therefore at present will be very busy.
I will not break my promise. I will be sending them, so hold on...........hold on!!!!

I have so many pictures and the truth is hardly any of them were taken by me. In my last three visits to Jamaica I never even brought a camera.

I think the older ones are more interested and some people may not even know who they are looking at.
My grandchildren will have fun seeing their Roots and one day hopefully will find their way to Treasure Beach.
I think I will just let them do this project for me as they are the tech savvy ones.
Inherited it from their daddy........mommy too, but surely not grandma.
My granddaughter said to me the other day she will be my teacher. How cute is that.

The funny thing is, my hubby is a Computer-Wiz but is too busy and impatient to teach me all the tricks of the trade.
Honestly he taught me all I know about the computer and he has said to me many times I am a very good student.
