maybe this seems like a silly question, but i wondered it there is anyplace near TB, like maybe crossroad or southfield where i might be able to get contact lens solution. i can't see without them, and the airlines are so strict about weight and liquids. i'de rather be bringing books. thanks.
Would it not be more simple and practical to bring your eyeglasses instead ?
ONE LOVE !!

Hi, Jeanie/Tom
Not sure about where to buy it in TB, but I know you can bring liquids in your checked baggage. (it's also works for taking rum home :-)

How about stopping in a pharmacy in MoBay?
you can purchase such items in the pharmacy in crossroads
what you need to know is that the selection here is very limited
i suggest stopping in the pharmarcy in black river where you will have a much better selection
go to the pharmacy by the market, it is usually less expensive, and has a much better selection than the one on high street
you may have your driver stop on your way to treasure beach with no inconvenience at all
all right then nuff said
have a great trip and yes books are so valued in treasure beach thank you
as long as it's 3 oz or less you can bring it on your carryon...If your bottle is larger...get a 3 oz carryon bottle at Walmart in the travel size section in the pharmacy, label what is in it and put in a ziplock bag.
The TSA agents usually let the 3.5-4 oz bottles of saline through (maybe because the manufacturers have started printing "TSA approved" on the labels?), but I've also purchased solution in Black River. The small bottle is more than enough for a week's stay, but if you're going to be there longer (which, of course, you should be ), I'd take Eric's suggestion about putting a full size bottle in your checked bag.
