Season’s Greetings!

For 2011, Two Seasons Guest House, Treasure Beach, Jamaica will be hosting its “Hanging out with…” series. Guests will get the opportunity to spend the last weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month with an expert in a particular field, with the opportunity to interact informally and to participate in more organized sessions. A one-hour rap session on Saturday evening will be followed by a two hour workshop on Sunday morning. Check out our blog for details on each personality (http://2seasonsguesthouse.com/blog).

For January 29 and 30, serious jazz enthusiasts can explore jazz in the Caribbean with Myrna Hague.

Sandra Shirley will share insights on life and pre-retirement strategies for young and old on February 26 and 27.
Dancing for a living is explored by L’Antoinette Stines on March 26 and 27.

Allison Sinclair spins the potter’s wheel on April 30 and May 1.

The series takes a break in May to make space for Calabash and resumes on June 25 and 26 with Basil Dawkins who will guide you from script to stage or screen.

Mervyn Morris wraps up the series with the art of poetry, on July 30-31.

The package costs are as follows:

For two persons in a room for one night (Saturday) and workshops on Saturday and Sunday = US$165 or J$14,000

For one person in a room for one night and workshops on Saturday and Sunday = US$100 or J$8,500

Rates include full breakfast and liquid break during or at the end of the workshop. Jamaica dollar rates subject to change until room is confirmed by 10% non-refundable deposit.
