Thank you Eric for reminding me. Of course you want to see pictures of the brand new, state-of-the-art computer lab. I confess, I got carried away with the celebration!

Currently, we have over 50 people on the our sign-up sheet. You may sign-up at Treasure Beach Women's Center on Old Wharf Road, or send an email to tbwgjamaica@yahoo.com. We will also take the sign-up sheets to the streets, out into the community and conduct short informational presentations

HEART, Black River will be facilitating the Computer Literacy component of the TBWG literacy program. A teacher has already been assigned. TBWG will facilitate the literacy and numeracy piece and we currently have five TBWG members who have agreed to be trained as facilitators.

Brief telephone interviews will be conducted with each person signed-up for classes, to ascertain individual needs and availability, so that we may create class schedules that work for all. We will begin classes in January, 2011.
