Can some one please enlighten me?
What is the device that is plugged into the usb port for internet reception? I used it both at Owen`s and the ice cream shop by Lindas.
Can I get one to bring down from Canada? or is it locally available?
Thanks in advance.
It's called an internet stick and you can get one from Rogers or Bell
are you speaking about an air card? you usually can buy air cards from providers in your country, in the US- AT&T, etc.
I'm curious, JA has air cards? Probably check JA cell phone providers websites...
Its called a dongle I believe
You would have to buy one here either through Claro or Digicel. The overseas ones won't work here.
I wonder too Hooked on TB. Also, would they be available for short term rental?
Thanks for the info, everyone.
An air card is not the one that is used in the usb port, its used in the card holder. An internet stick A.K.A Dongle, is what is used in the usb port.
Digicel, Clairo, and Lime all have modems that plug into your wireless, for purchase and a monthly fee thereafter for service.
Digicel does not work in TB but Clairo and Lime do.
Dorothy. You need to buy the stick about 6,000ja, and then you need to buy time on it to use it about 3,000ja, a month. I know I have one and you can use mine.
Looking forward to it!! Thanks.
