Hi were heading to TB in jan and just need to stay in Mobay for the 1st night that we arrive. Need somewhere close to the airport, nothing 2 fancy but somewhere safe and comfortable. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks x

I always stay at Richmond Hill Inn. Lots of people stay there when coming in from the airport. It is not in the 'tourist' area and very safe. we have been comfortable and happy at the Glorianna

Tobys- www.Tobysresorts.com about a mile from the airport, nice rooms, nice pool, place to eat, on the very corner of the hip strip so close to the action if you wanted, but off on it's own little corner. Not too big, nice grounds.

For sure a support JA place- even the furniture is mostly made from bamboo, JA owned and operated.

Really nice staff.

My family always books there for arrival day and day before departure at least to break up the travel of visiting me from foreign.

It is also a place I take mini vacations when able to to break up lengthier North Coast trips or before an early flight out. I don't like Mobay but like Toby's if I am going to be there!

Local rate is around $60 US, I think for visitors rooms run $75 and up.

I've used the Gloriana for such occasions.

Try the El Greco. We've had good reviews on it from our guests that have stayed there.

We've stayed at the Relax Resort, right above the airport. Very nice facilities, restaurant on property, very friendly staff with airport shuttle.

I stayed at the Royal Decameron, on the hip stip but with a secluded feel, near to the airport. Very safe and prices were good. You can Google them.
