I know this has nothing to do directly with Treasure Beach, but indeed has affected the world. What a great way to start the day by seeing these incredible videos of the miners being reunited with their families. Let's continue to pray that all 33 come up safely.

you said it ! The entire world is watching the rescue - and we should pray for the miners, as we should pray for fishermen - all people who risk their lifes everyday - to do they job.

Rebecca I knew you would touch on this subject because you are a person who cares---I can tell one when I see or read what someone has to say because I am of the same nature.

I sat and watched until 2:am.Three miners were brought up then and believe it or not my emotion was tears and prayers for each one and their families.

I went off to sleep with my TV going and at 6:46 am I woke-up and there they were sending down the capsule for the 9th miner the eldest of the group and by 7:00 am he was out.He knelt down and all I can say I think he was doing was just giving thanks to God and all the rest that made this happened.

It is going a little faster now, at least 15 minutes from under to the surface.
Well I will keep watching on and off even though I would rather sit and watch each and everyone's reaction when they emerge, but I have to get on with my chores.
Number 16 is taking a little bit longer to emerge.
11:50 and here comes the cheers and tears. His mother was elated with joy--BIG HUG not wanting to let go of her son.

Let us all keep praying for there is still a long way to go.

I've just been watching this on the news in England. I have shed a few tears of joy. What an amazing story. I so hope that all the rescues are successful.

It is amazing how great God is. This is really a miracle. This is something that has touch so many people. I trust and pray that that all will make it back safe.

This really is amazing. I've been watching it all day. Really is amazing and to think back when they first were trapped, the only thing that let people know they were down there and STILL alive was a faint tapping sound. Truly amazing.

My posting was at 10:57 am: and now at 7:15 pm I just sat down with a cup of tea, having just put my chicken in the oven at 6:30 pm.

Just came back to my Living Room in time to see the 29th miner emerging.I just could not take myself away from the TV, but I'm accustomed to eating late seeing I wait for my hubby to get home.

I had my best friend from Canada on the phone for 3 hours keeping me company also. We talk this long in general anyway.
She is more than a friend. I would say my 5th Sister I met in 1978 when I was living there also.

Everyone should have a friend like her.One day we will be in TB together and what a reunion that will be.

I promised no more tears until it's over but I cannot hold it in.
CELEBRATION TIME IS HERE>>ALL OUR PRAYERS HAS BEEN ANSWERED. "GOD IS GOOD"

MY BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE WAS JUST OPEN.

Maybe the best part is I have not seen a common caring attitude by people worldwide in quite a long time, if ever.

maro22 there are always good stories out there.May be you are too busy to keep up with the news/talk shows.

But I do agree with you we need more caring in the world.
