I was just thinking why dont Sandy Bank have these things at their school:
A school t-shirt
A proper court
A computer lab with computers
A head girl/boy
A proper football field
Better desk and chairs/benches/chalk board
We all could put together and help the school with these things!WE ARE ONE!

EASIER SAID THAN DONE

I am guessing Sandy Bank doesn't have all these things because they do not have enough money. If they had more money they would probably have to decide what would help the most. I would vote for things to help learning.

The PTA and the staff at the school need to mobilize themselves to make some money, have concerts, ask parents and friends to donate cakes, cookies, chicken, drinks and more, the school will then have a food sale day. A school magazine. Does Sandy Bank Primary has a Pass Student Association.

When last did you attend a PTA or staff meeting where you were informed what they indeed were doing and at those meetings did you bring up these suggestions?

I think your ideas of fund raisers are great and would recommend you organize some. As you have such strong opinions of what the school needs I bet you would be passionate about your efforts to raise funds for these items. We look forward to seeing your fund raising events announced on TB.net so we can attend and help support your projects.

Whether you live abroad or in TB there is plenty you could do to achieve you goals. Just look at the Treasure Beach Foundation as a shining example of an organization not based in TB doing so much for Sandy Bank Primary School.

Ditto-Rebecca. Some of us prefer to give instructions then stand back and criticise without actually getting our fingers dirty.

Rebecca why did you attack this pass studewnt in such manner, notice the person asked if there was a Pass Student Association, perhaps they want to help. Most of the help Sandy Bank Primary is getting comes from a group or body. The pass student was just making some suggestions. We all make suggestions dont be so harsh.

I dont think that Rebecca was trying to attack, just shes just suggested that since he has such great ideas maybe he would like to get something together to get them done.

I wish we had people like Rebecca, Karen and all the good people who have step up and help out. In the 80's when we were in school I know alot of my friends would come to school with out lunch money, so as Rebecca said you have alot of great ideas Past Student why not do something with them.

It can take 10 minutes to think of a good idea and 10 months to make it happen. I think Pass Student should concentrate on making at least one thing happen for Sandy Bank.

I am surprised that Teacher is responding to the name "Pass" Student instead of making the correction as someone did above.

This past student could very well be a parent, very busy trying to raise funds at their kid's school and taking the time to make some suggestions to their old school how they could raise some funds, and you have a problem with that, RIDICULOUS!

I think i know who pass student is. It's my cousin. I am going to give him a call, maybe i can help him. I like the t-shirt and the cake ideas but I don't think anyone gonna donate chickens.
