BREDS, The Treasure Beach Citizens Alert Group, and The Treasure Beach Women's Group working together as The Greater TB Citizens Association entered a national competition for Best Community and Better Environment for Social Transformation in the parish.

The results were Treasure Beach winning the following:

Best Community in St. Elizabeth

Most beautiful community in St. Elizabeth

and shared with Newcombe Valley Best kept community facilities.


The Greater TB Citizens Assoc. plans to use the cash reward for The Ambulance Fund, cleaning up the beaches, community bulletin boards, and more.

Congratulations Treasure Beach for confirming what we knew long time already!

Treasure Beach is in the news celebrating all good happenings and it certainly does deserve to be so.
On the other hand all this could not have taken place if it was not for the dedicated hard work being done by those devoted citizens.

Treasure Beach that little fishing village I knew as a child was just that,many people in Jamaica never even heard of it then.They would say to me where is it,what Parish, but for sure whenever they paid a visit they loved it and its' people.

Now many,many years later when some one here in Florida hear the name Treasure Beach, I don't even have to say where it is, they are ready to tell me about their trip for whatever reason and the wonderful time they had.

Keep on...Keep on... TB.
