Well the most fearful time of year is here for Florida and the Caribbean Islands...Hurricane Season.
Please start your preparations now.
Believe it or not I did my food shopping on Sunday and stocked my boxes away.

I had my Portable TV/Flashlights/BBQ Grill/Lanterns/Batteries/ Health Supplies/Portable Fans, Bottles and Bottles of water, etc, etc from last season stocked away also.

Seeing everyone is now using Cell Phones do not forget to keep them charged on a regular basis.
Make sure to keep your gas tanks on full if there is a WARNING for your area.

Please do not forget to help the older people that cannot do most of these things for themselves.
PLEASE NEVER USE CANDLES,UNLESS THEY ARE BATTERY OPERATED.

Things around your homes that can become flying objects should also be put away safely or tied down.

Do not forget to keep your pets safe also.

Last but not least, let us all Pray we never have to use any of these supplies because of a >>...>> HURRICANE THREAT.
God Bless,
Love TB.

Hello Beenthere,
When you say water is always the worst are you talking FLOODING or water for DOMESTIC purposes?

If it is DOMESTIC that should not be that difficult to rectify, just buy some bottled water for drinking OR sanitized certain containers you have in your home and catch some rain water..
As a child that was fun for us to do Hurricane or no Hurricane.

We cannot live without water...so folks get busy and CLEAN OUT THOSE DRUMS...LARGE BUCKETS...EVEN some of those BIG POTS I see people use for cooking when they are having those "Big to do Functions".

As long as there are no holes in whatever containers you choose to use get busy cleaning them and have them ready just in case.

My mom was so wise she would look out to SEA and at the Santa Cruz Mountain that stretches all the way from Westmorland to Great Bay the famous "Pedro Bluff" and believe me she knew it was time to gather all the containers that would hold water and lined them up all around the house and after a good Run-off from the Roof she would then open certain Large Drums to catch her drinking water.

Today people are so dependent on the pipes coming into their homes they seem to forget that if there is a Hurricane and the Electricity goes out the Pump for the Reservoirs cannot work.

Another fun time from the "Good old days".

YOU CANNOT SAY I NEVER TRIED TO HELP.
BYE FOR NOW,
GOD BLESS.
