Can the community please shed some light on reports of dengue fever. Have there been any reported cases in Treasure Beach or St Elizabeth in general. I've read in the Observer that there are 104 reported cases but no mention of affected areas or a greater number of cases in any specific area. A picture of a small pond of water in the Great Bay area was shown in the Observer. Any local information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

That picture is not of any pond in Great Bay. It is a picture of the ill-fated canal which is a clear and present danger in so many ways to the community. Dengue fever is just one more potential hazard.
