Hello Everyone!!

I just want to share this video clip with you. Sgt Gary Smith Convoy Commander, he is one of us. He grew up in Beacon, went to school at Newell where he was head boy in the late 80’s. He migrated to Canada and joins the Military. He was in Treasure Beach over the Christmas Holidays visiting relatives before going to Afghanistan. We are so proud of you Gary!! Keep shining. With lots of Love from the whole family!!

I heard the sad news but didn't know it was one of our own son of the soil. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

This is a success story of one of our own from South St. Elizabeth.
From Head Boy at Newell to the rank of Sgt. Commander in Afghanistan. Although he is representing Canada he is still ours. Jamaicans can do great things anywhere. He is Sgt. Gary Smith. Watch this clip.

Treasure Beach Resident if you read the post properly you will see that the family of Gary is saying that they are proud of him and not that he has been a casualty.

Just wanted to clarify.
