Hello Everyone!!
I just want to share this video clip with you. Sgt Gary Smith Convoy Commander, he is one of us. He grew up in Beacon, went to school at Newell where he was head boy in the late 80’s. He migrated to Canada and joins the Military. He was in Treasure Beach over the Christmas Holidays visiting relatives before going to Afghanistan. We are so proud of you Gary!! Keep shining. I heard the sad news but didn't know it was one of our own son of the soil. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Treasure Beach Resident if you read the post properly you will see that the family of Gary is saying that they are proud of him and not that he has been a casualty.
