Hi my partner and myself want to get married at treasure beach next year as we have family in St Elizabeth. Can anyone recommend a venue? we would really like to get married on the beach and have a fantastic party afterwards, any suggestions?

Button Bay. Absolutely beautiful. And all the facilities for a party.

If you are thinking of just a small wedding, then there are many places to choose from. If you are thinking of say 25 persons or more then in addition to the places mentioned above I would also recommend Taino Cove, Sunset Resort, and Jakes/Jack Sprat.

A friend of mine got married in JA a couple of years ago. She had her wedding party stay at a combination of places based on their means (I think mainly Jakes, Golden Sands and Sunset Resort), but she and her husband booked into a smaller place all to themselves (I think it was Villa Ja-Ja -- now Shakti Home -- but not sure). That way, they could bring the whole group together, but have their privacy, too.

I would get married at the gorgeous private little beach cove in Old Wharf under the Tamarind tree and have a beach party afterward.

A lot of the villas are good for weddings. If you pick one on the sea you could get married on the beach and then have a fine celebration back up at the villa. The only problem is you can't rent them for one night but you could stay there yourselves or maybe with some of your family or members of the wedding party. I would ask Rebecca at Treasure Tours to see what she could arrange for you because she knows the places that would be best.
