What a day Saturday was!! I started out the day at Smurf's Cafe watching the bicyclists racing in the triathlon zooming by. Then I went on to Jack Sprat and continued to watch the cyclists come in and take off again running. I then got to watch the winner coming across the finish line.



No, you are not seeing wrong. . . the winner of the triathlon this year is a woman! I will post the names of the winners, etc. as soon as I receive the information.

Then off to Old Wharf for the Children's triathlon!



Trust me folks, there was nothing easy about this triathlon either. These kids certainly had fortitude! Again, I will post the winners names when I receive them.

Then I was off to cricket - lovely cricket. The 20 20 Tufton competition was in the semi-finals playoff being held in Barbary Hall. It was Vineyard against our own Treasure Play team managed by Silvan James and sponsored by Jakes.



Unfortunately, Treasure Play did not make it to the finals, but they certainly gave Vineyard a good challenge.

And the day continued . . .

Off to Billy's Bay beach and the Calvary Assembly of God Church's Family Fun Day and Dinner. The food included jerk pork, curried goat, fried chicken, escovitch fish and bammy. And the fun included games, swimming, and wonderful gospel music!

The day ended for me right back where it started. The doctors and organizers of the TBWG Health Fair arrived during the day and Dawn and Kevin of Smurf's Cafe hosted all of them for a delicious complimentary dinner!
