Thanks for those ZED. I don't have a comic strip yet but participate in my ungoing, unscripted and spontaneous production in 3D with smellorama and touchy feely. Sorry, no CD's.
The prof from Chicago made valid points about cultural and familial identification with the Taino. Their Zemis have inspired me by the patience of their makers, the grace of the forms and the myths and stories that are behind them.
This culture can never be reasembled but there are aspects that are worthy of emulating. Columbus's words from the first video reflect his admiration for their lifestyle.
I'm glad there is a growing recognition of the depth and beauty of this part of our heritage.
Very cool. History is not told properly around our planet but we all should make a greater effort to be open minded and understanding to this. The past is a part of our now and future, it would be good to get it as correct as we can even when we unearth the despicable things we humans can do to each other and are still doing. I hope to meet you one day Turey.
