Jeannieb and jamaicajunkie, thanks so much for those links. I see where the travel writer from the Toronto Sun mentioned that Floyd (which I believe is misspelled as he addes an e at the end) said the idea for the Pelican came to him as a dream. That might be correct if he was dreaming about Ted Parchment's idea. We were there shortly after the Pelican opened and Floyde agreed that it was Teddy's idea but that he acted on it and Ted hadn't. Everyone inside all nodded that that was the truth. No matter, it's a cool spot and pictures of it are all over the world. I have a number of Eggy picture's but Franz really captured him better than any pics I've ever seen.
