Just got my Travel and Leisure Magazine and saw this in the travel deal section. Jamaica delicious deal from Jakes, on Jamaica's South Coast.
What's Included.
Five nights in a standard room, a one-hour cooking class with the chefs at Dougies Jamaican Restaurant, a gift basket with hot peppers, guava jam and jerk seasoning.
Cost $380US ($76 per night)
Double April 20- December 14.
My wife and I own a small hotel and often advertise specials like this to attract new guests. I believe this deal costs $152 per night because it is for a double which would mean the $76 is for only one person and two people need to stay in the room to get that special rate. Then you need to add any taxes and any service charges. This would also be for their lowest priced room. If you can really get this package for $76 a night with no extra charges then it's a super bargain.
Funny. No special like this on Jake's site. Not saying it wasn't in the magazine you got. The site does talk about the painting workshops and they also offer a complimentary fifth night.

I'm sorry, is this $76 per night double occupancy?
Someone needs to call because it's not on Jakes site under special deals. I would call but I usually stay elsewhere. Also please ask about room taxes and any gratuity that gets added to the bill. Would the person who calls please be kind enough to put the answer here on the forum so everybody gets the answer.
