My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Treasure Beach for the very first time. We stayed at Sunset Resort, which was beautiful. We would walk to the beach to have lunch at Angies and have red stripes at Eggys to watch the sunset. Our stay was for 10 days and we could walk everywhere to eat, the sad part my wife and I felt like we took our lives in our hands whenever we walked to these places. The regular traffic would give us a toot of the horn when approaching. There were 2 vehicles in particular the we were deathly afraid of,1 was orange and the other was a black Honda with red and white lettering on the side. Thank God they had loud mufflers as to alert us to their on the edge speeding, which gave us time to try and safely find shelter from the road. We were not the only ones who noticed these guys and we warned all we could about them. The reason I bring this up is nothing will be done with these 2 [edited by TB.Net] until someone is killed and that would a very sad thing, I hope someone in your beautiful community has the courage to do something before it is too late. Thank you

[edited by TBNet] Even with the increased police presence that was evident this year. The community could place "sleeping police" at prime spots like Sandy Bank school, and the corner by Golden Sands, however, there is much complaining , and little action.Any ideas?

I have seen an effective way to slow down the speeding cars. It is used by residents on the road from Crossroad up towards Southfield.

They strategically place a few big rockstone in the road, so that the car is forced to slow down and navigate around.

Taxi driver's have said the practice takes money out of their pocket.
