Anyone have any of those luscious varieties I can get seeds from?

turey, a couple years ago I bought a pomegranate from a supermarket. The seeds were blood red and I grew some lovely plants from them. I kept hoping they'd fruit with no luck.

I finally uprooted the plants after I learned that mine were the double-blossomed variety which rarely grow fruits. The ones we have in TB (they grow just about anywhere in the yard from seeds casually dropped here and there) have seeds that are more pink, or blush, in colour and have larger seeds with more juice. When you're there just ask around and I'm sure you'll come across them.

Thanks Sentry, I'll ask where I can get when I come down and select seeds as you advised.

More reasons to love JA -- I had no idea my absolute favorite fruit in the world grew in TB! I'll have to be more observant the next time I get to visit.

Thanks Jeannie, Frankie is one of my inspirations for organic farming.

A place for me to get seeds.
