Brother G and I were talking about our old people and he mentioned a great grandmother that had tall (straight) hair and was an Indian. He assumes East Indian origin. She was from Central St Ann, so I wasn't sure that was the case.
Someone thought of one question that probably would tell if she was East Indian or of the remote coastal or deep inland Maroon African/Taino families that had said dark straight hair, 'Arawak' eyes (Epicanthal fold) and had a practice that told me G had an ancestor of this family line.
The photo I refered Big Cat to showed a lady that would be similar to her and to many of our great grands from these families.
As we were talking in walked a Maroon yout from Trelawny. He knew why he had 'Arawak Eyes'.
So; what was the one question whose answer suggested her origin?
Why did she have tall and not long hair? Turey, please don't kill me.
term-long hair not tall hair
OK Quest, I'll spare you this time!
Bro G described her long hair as 'tall'. Tall is used by many here as a description for long and straight hair.
Then again maybe she was the first punk and it was really tall. Now please, don't kill me for that one Quest.
Hint. Food kind.
Perception is where it should be. I heard you loud and clear Turey. Yuh nuh easy!!!
